So, last night we finally managed to get the zone. We went in with less people that I wanted to but everyone did a great job, and this is what happens when everyone work together as a team!

We had an amazing run today with Interlopers. Got plenty of good AF, 2 100-pieces, a successful death squad run, and then we did 2 of the attestation NMs.

And what do you know, the frickin thing dropped! 1/1!
Unfortunatly the other NM didnt drop the Polearm attest tho, but its was a VERY good run.

Quick update

I got nothing really significant to report but we do the usual events everyday.

I'm currently only waiting for 4 drops from the events we do with the LS; Homam pants, Hecatomb Legs, Byakko's Haidate, Justice Torque. I'm first in line for the the Homam and Hecatomb, so those things just have to drop.. The other pieces there's more people after, and it could take some time. Long gone are the times when you had nothing, and you were a potential candidate for almost anything that dropped. Back then, it was like your birthday every week, but now, once you get something you've dreamed about for so long it usually just leaves you speechless. I remember when I got my Love torque, I was stunned. Considering what had to be done to get it, have it drop, and get to lot on it, was something I didnt think I would manage a few years back. It's a good thing its been raining Love Torques over Seraphi, a lot of people can experience that feeling..

Yesterday we did a Dynamis-Xark run, farmed until we had 20 min left, andd then we gave Animated Dagger a try, I mostly wanted to see how tough it was and what needed to be cleared to make the pull possible. Turns out our usual farming was enough to clear a sacpull path. Once spawned it aggrod 1 group of 7 demons and 2 eyes, but these are no problem since they are brought away by the sacpuller. (Sac path is along the the wall towards WHM tower, and west past the PLD tower, down to the "snow-boobies", once there I headed back with the mobs to camp, since the dagger had warped by then. We camp to the south of WHM tower next to the wall)
I think we got it down 46% before it warped, not bad considering we had no bard 2hr and not very melee heavy. We are doing another Xark run on Sunday, which will include a DL fight.

After dynamis was over I was tired, but I headed out to Castle Zwahl to pick up my Dynamis Dagger (Stage 3) that was finished. I went to bed with a smile on my face.

I decided to spend some cash today. Bought a Forager's Mantle.
Best TP backpiece for my SAM and THF.



After that we did Dynamis Buburimu. Cleared and got 7 AF, 4 of them accessories.

Some news to report..

First of all, last friday i went 5/5 on Samurai AF2 when i received the final piece i Dynamis-Xarcabard.


My bonecrafting is now at 66.5. Trying to work on this every day, but its getting harder for sure now..

Yesterday I got my third item using Einherjar points. This is the best available neckpiece for my THF and SAM weaponskill gear setup.

Me, Daz and Seanyboi went organfarming in Sea. Went good, I almost have my Thunder Obi now. Will come back some other day.

We did Dynamis-Valkurm tonight. Had a lot of good drops, and I got the Thief Cape.
Going right into my SATA macro-setup :-).

Been working on my fishing-skill. Turns out that Cheval Salmon is great for skillup at my range, and i've gotten it up to 18 now.

Yesterday we had Dynamis-Xarkabard, we got a WAR,DRK,NIN,WHM AF drops which was ok I guess.

A short update

Nothing special to report. I have got my BLM up to 71, and I just realised that this job will take up soooo much MH space, there is lika a gazillion things needed for gearswaps, and it aint cheap either. So much for pimping out my THF and SAM ><.
We have done a few Bahamut V2 fights which went good, (fight was over in 30seconds). Done the usual jailers, Dynamis and Limbus. Still waiting for that damn Homam body to drop, I guess I'm just not destined to have it..

I have been lazy with updates..

..but I have nothing really impressive to report. We have done the usual events every day, Sky, Limbus, Dynamis, Ouryu Comet and a few Kirins. Hopefully we can get the last 3 or 4 Kirin pops done so we can go back to Sea again. Sky is nice and all, and I still miss some gear from it but it is is kind of boring.. The thing I still enjoy the most is Limbus, I'm now first in line for the Homam body, just hope it will drop next time. We have started splitting up in 2 groups, and do 2 zones at a time, so we get more coins. Last time we got 8 coins each with is nice for the wallet.
I'm still struggling with lveling my BLM, is currently level 64 and my I try to hit Campaign as often I can on it, but the exp cap is still kind of low in Campaign for this level. A 30 minute session usally net me around 960exp.

Dynamis Windy

We did Dynamis Windy today, clearance for those who needed it, 9 AF drops, a 100 piece AND the final THF AF2 i needed to complete the set ^^.

Yesterday I experienced to worst incident I have ever seen in FFXI. We were doing Dynamis-Sandoria, and when we had about 1 hour left, we suddenly noticed Kleindanger from Ambition was lotting on the treasure pool, we was like "what the fuck is that asshole doing in here", they ninja lotted a few coins and a RDM AF that was in the treasure pool. We was stunned, just stood there and wondered how the hell he got inside. Then we see Klendanger, Zaagi and Andastra run to us with the western part of the repopped mobs following them. Massive MPK, at this point there is no reason for us to go on killing since we cant stop them from ninja lotting the items. After awhile the start casting Raise on a few of our linkshell members. We say to them "Don't get up, they will just train more mobs here and kill you again." but some of the guys got up, and sure, they proceed to position hack around to all the corners of the zone agroing everythin including the megaboss, and mpks us again. We have by now filed a GM complaint (or several afaik). Some of us drop our glasses, the ones down with no raise (like me) just quits the game.
When i got back on today I was laying face down in Sandy, got a Raise 2 tho so it was ok.
We still dont really know how Ambition LS got a hold of a glass, but hopefully, and I as far as I can interpret from what the GM has said, they will take action and get those stinking cheating germans of this server and permbanned. If you who read this know Kleindanger, Zaagi, Andastra or anyone else of those cunts in Ambotion, tell them they are a fucking disgrace to their country, the game and that I'd remodel their face if I was ever to meet them IRL.

Ranger time

Yesterday we did Dynamis-Buburimu. Was great fun, and we got some very nice drops. Not much currency tho.. Before that I did my first Nyzul Isle Assault, was interesting but we failed. Apparently we had bad luck with the mobs we randomly got. I'm getting sick and had a splitting headache and a fever so I was more or less in a bad mood the whole time, and didnt really feel like doing the Dyna run, but I'm glad I did. Also the drops will help the LS a great deal, and that makes me feel good. If there is something I've learned since I gotten into the endgame thing is that there is no place for envy and I tend to just ignore the drama stuff. It's those things that finally get people to just say "fuck it", make a lot of enemies and in the end get the shaft when it comes to getting stuff for themselves. My plan is to be as helpful as possible and do my job, that way when the drops I would benefit from comes, I should have a much better chance of getting them.

Figured I should get the subs I can use for my level 75 jobs up to 37, which more or less means that the only one that still needs some leveling is Ranger. It is currently level 14 so i need another 23 levels for it.
Started to gear it up yesterday after our Dynamis run, and noticed att the Iron Arrows was sold out on the AH. No problem, my wood working was just 4 levels below the cap for making those I was gonna get some arrowheads, Chocobo fletchings, and Arrowwood lumber. Well waddayaknow, no arrowheads on the AH either.. So I had to buy the ingredients for those, and had Jamibian help me synth them. Very nice of him! Then i got stuff for the fletchings, and Arrowwood logs also, since there was no arrowwood lumber. So suddenly my inventory was smack full, and I haven't even completed my gear I was gonna wear. Muling, muling and more muling.

Well, then i got some new nifty rings, a bow, a body and trousers. Will continue the gear shopping once i get home later today. Hopefully I can get on a quick party in the dunes before Limbus that is planned for tonight. I remember I liked ranger 0-14, the damage you dealt was superb, and if you just spammed arrows you pretty much was tanking nonstop. I was kinda poor at that time tho so i mostly meleed. This time around I got PLENTY of arrows and plan to use them a lot. Should be fun.

Another day..

Today i did some Campaign on BLM, Merited on THF (only got 1 more merit), and later we did Dynamis-Jeuno with the LS.

Alchemy, something for me?

Did Dynamis Xarkabard yesterday. Got pretty good AFs, THF hands and BLM hat, but currency was bad. I died 12 times, hurray for sac-pulls, now i need to work on that buffer again.

Started leveling Alchemy yesterday also, its pretty fun still and not so expensive, since i can farm alot of the stuff on THF. Will update my progess in this blogg. I worked pretty hard on it today and dinged level20. Next recipe im going to skill up on will be Silent Oils, but that requires Slime Oils, that will be quite costly to buy, so I think I'll go farm those tomorrow.

After that we had Limbus planned. Today we we going to do Temenos-West.
Was a good run, got 5 coins and a material for SAM AF+1.

Yesterday we did the attestation run. It was somewhat fun.. i lost 6k exp.. Alot of sac pulls and had to HP after the sac for the eye in Hydra area.
We didnt get the attestations we needed (shield and scyte) so I guess we have to go back again.

After that Bettysan said i could leach some exp of her soloing in Mount Zhaylom, I did that but i think she got disconnected early into the session. Never mind, it was nice of her to offer to help.

Today i went on Dancer again. It was a very good session. About6.5k/h exp, everyone know what they where doing and it was nice. I managed go all the way up to level 37, thats 5 whole levels in 1 party! I went farming a bit later today, has to be done now and then.. Tomorrow is x-mas so no FFXI for me.

Maintenance again!?!?

Ye, and in our prime time also. I logged on at 21.00 and went straight for San'Doria since we had Dynamis today. I really dont like this zone, since pulling here is (in my opinion) the worst place, maybe just topped by Windy. Of course you will die a lot more in Xarkabard but thats sacpulls, in Sandy you never really no if a pull will go ok or if you will link the whole shit..

Well the run when pretty smooth and the drops was nice, we got some AF that we rarly get (WHM) and we also got several RDM and some other stuff AND 2 100 pices which is nice. Just what Jamibian needed for his relic upgrade. Will be nice once we have a Aegis in the linkshell!

20 minutes before the run ended my internet died (again)! Im getting seriously annoyed with this and hope this is not something that will continue happening. I got on 25 minutes later on Ventrillo and told them i would be right there, but they had just exited Dynamis, so I said good night and went to bed.

No time to waste

Back on Dancer, and no Tyrandor in sight. I figured since im going to be away Saturday, there would be no harm in leveling on myself, he would be able to catch up.
So I dinged DNC23 in Korroloka Tunnel, and then i got an party invite...in Kazham.
With access to outpost warps and so i rarly find myself going nuts to go somewhere, but its actually quite a trip.. Korroloka to Bastok, warp to Whitegate, warp to Jeuno and then wait for the boat you just missed.. So that was 28 minutes travel time.. Maybe i should just gotten on a high level job and OP-warped.. well, done is done.

With exactly 1 hour to spare until our Dynamis-Beucedine run was scheduled I was hopeing for a good party so I could get the exp needed to ding 24. My good gear i was carrying was Lvl24 and I really wanted to put on my Emp Hairpin, back and leg gear.

But NO, that party was a huge dissapointment. People went afk, the place was so crowded that we had to wait severals minutes between each pull and eventually they pulled gob and 1 guy died, so I decided to leave (a bit early) for Dynamis.

Like 1 hour into Dynamis my Internet went dead..
