Proto-Omega fight!

Today we did Protos-Omega again. This time the fight was super-smooth. We got Homam legs and head. And I got the head! My first piece of Homam gear. Too bad the piece really sucks..
But hey, atleast im 1/5 now, and it didn't cost me any points.

Nothng special..

I farmed some more today in QC, didnt get anything good.
Then I went to solo Dark Spark on THF/NIN, was a cakewalk.. So now i have yet another piece that just takes up space..

Got a pt invite on my BLM, made about 10k exp, so im halfway to level 61 now.

You guess it, farming!

No more fishing.. that sucks. so back to Quicksand. First i did the pop-NM again, so good drops.
Then I camped the Ranger NM and got the Loxley Bow and 6k gil. Was a easy kill so thats fine.
Popped 2 Coffers, netting me 17k. Redid the pop-Nm again a bit later, crap drops again. Moved to Monastic Cavern, opened a coffer, found my THF AF gloves item, i forgot to finish, lol. Guess I can do Dark SPark once i go do the last battle for Bastok Rank 10 in Castle Zwahl Baileys. Was planning on doing Limbus with the LS but personal things got in the way.

Farming

Another day of farming. Went back to do the pop-nm in Quicksand Caves. Got two Adaman ores today so that was nice. Decided I would try my luck at Angel Skin fishing.. never done that before and well.. its boring.. Went THF75/DNC37, and that is really nice for the sneak/invisible and free heals.. Think im gonna like this addition i now have for solo-stuff.

Well fishing didnt work out.. I just dont have the willpower to sit there for hours and..well I stayed for an hour, then i left.

Went to Whitegate, and flagged up for a merit-party invite.

Adventure on my own

Today I wanted to do something different, so I went to Quicksand Caves, planning on see if any NMs where up and maybe pop a coffer or 2. I got 1 coffer and did one NM (Tribunus VII-I).

Went fine and all.. Got the drops, not that it was of any use for me. 3 x Iron ores and the Axe that i cant use.. Well, fun and easy fight atleast.










After that I figured i'd check out the BLM NM (Proconsul), guide said it was soloable by WHM/NIN.. I guess I should have atleast but reriase up, which i didnt.. I wrnt THf/NIN and I got raped.. not used to that on THF.
But I wanted revenge, so I got on SAM/NIN and went back.. Unfortunatly I pulled and got a link, and this turned out to be the thing that would turn the tide of the fight.
Treated it like a Maat-fight and Meditated up before fight, pulled (got link), WS, 2Hr, WS, WS, Meditate, WS, WS, got him to 1%. And died. I counted my damage and it turns out that i was 150 damage short of killing it! So i reraise, planning to get up and just 1 shot him..well, hurray for Great Katana delay.. He hit me once before i could get of my attack.. So I'm dead again. And have to HP again.. Screw him, his crap drops aint worth dying for.. No I have to go level my buffer on both THF and SAM, both are just 3k from deleveling to 74 :(. Got a merit pt, got a 12k buffer for THF and 1 more limit point.

Yesterday we did the attestation run. It was somewhat fun.. i lost 6k exp.. Alot of sac pulls and had to HP after the sac for the eye in Hydra area.
We didnt get the attestations we needed (shield and scyte) so I guess we have to go back again.

After that Bettysan said i could leach some exp of her soloing in Mount Zhaylom, I did that but i think she got disconnected early into the session. Never mind, it was nice of her to offer to help.

Today i went on Dancer again. It was a very good session. About6.5k/h exp, everyone know what they where doing and it was nice. I managed go all the way up to level 37, thats 5 whole levels in 1 party! I went farming a bit later today, has to be done now and then.. Tomorrow is x-mas so no FFXI for me.

Friday was a free day for the LS. We usually do Dynamis, but it was moved to Saturday due to we are doing a joint run with the LS Delevel in Northlands. We will farm attestations. I leveled my Dancer somemore, its 31 now.

Today i went to do some campaign, and FINALLY got my BLM up to level 60. Will i ever have the strenght to get it to 75? I dont know..

Then i started looking for a pt for my dancer, solod awhile in Korroloka tunnel, low exp but safe atleast. Got a pt invite with a PL. RNG, DNC x2, THF, SAM, BLU. Was looking forward to see how it would go. If the Pl was good it should be awesome considering we had plenty of DDs.

It was a good pt, didnt last that long and we could have done alot more if the leader would have pulled faster. But atleast I dinged 32.

Farming..

..not fun but it needs to be done sometimes.. So I went out to farm Giant Bird Plumes.
Seems today was not a good day for drops, but I made about 40k in ~1 hour. Will probably have to go back once more this week. These birds die fast when using daggers.


After that it was time for LS event. Today we had scheduled Ouryu again, if enough people showed up. And that didnt happen.. Then there was plans for a swiftbelt run, but that didnt happen either..so i went soloing. Exp was dead in Lower Delfutt's Tower, so I grabbed the boat to Kazham, hoping to get a party invite. I didnt but I solod a bit.. Got about 3k and then i got tired of it.

Just not enough time..

Typing this from work. We have Limbus in a few hours and I just found out that I have to finish four large artworks for a client that needs to be ready to send for printing tomorrow morning. Somehow I doubt saying "But... I got Limbus planned tonight!" will help convince the boss to let me go home. If everything goes smooth and I dont run into any problems I should be home just around the LS gathering time for the event. I hope..

I made it home in time, and still had to wait since we went in late last time so we had to wait another hour to get our Cosmic Clensers.
We split up in 2 groups, run was ok, we got a good numver of coins atleast. But I got sponsored by Dixus today because i was low on cash, so he got my share of coins. I got some skillups in Sword from hitting our WHM while i was charmed though..


After the run was over i went to bed.

Maintenance again!?!?

Ye, and in our prime time also. I logged on at 21.00 and went straight for San'Doria since we had Dynamis today. I really dont like this zone, since pulling here is (in my opinion) the worst place, maybe just topped by Windy. Of course you will die a lot more in Xarkabard but thats sacpulls, in Sandy you never really no if a pull will go ok or if you will link the whole shit..

Well the run when pretty smooth and the drops was nice, we got some AF that we rarly get (WHM) and we also got several RDM and some other stuff AND 2 100 pices which is nice. Just what Jamibian needed for his relic upgrade. Will be nice once we have a Aegis in the linkshell!

20 minutes before the run ended my internet died (again)! Im getting seriously annoyed with this and hope this is not something that will continue happening. I got on 25 minutes later on Ventrillo and told them i would be right there, but they had just exited Dynamis, so I said good night and went to bed.

Boring..

Was supposed to do the Ouryu figh with the Cloud Evoker today with LS, but it got cancelled due to too few people was on.

Instead I went with Tyrandor to level Dancer. I died 4 times (stupid gob aggro) but I dinged DNC29 atleast.

Keep on dancing..

Been a good day, solod Dancer to level 28. Wasn't fast, but got there eventually. Seems its not as easy killing T mobs as it used to be..
Well, after i hit 28 i got an invite from some guys (and girl) to do a X-knife run.

We were only 5 of us so I didnt have that high hope..and it didnt go that well, we wiped. But as they say, you live-you learn. Not gonna try it again without a 6th member. But I ohh, soo want that knife.

Next on the schedule was our regular limbus,
and today we had Ultima planned if we had enough people on. Ultima is a bitch and you really dont wanna go in and risc the pop-items unless you are "sure" of win.
Well, we ended up with 15 people and we decided to go.. and what do yoy know.. its was a clean fight and we won!! Body, feet and Hands droped for some lucky mages.

So this weekend is now over and i guess it was pretty good. Unfortunately, I will have to farm again next week, im getting low on cash and those limbus runs is crucial. Cant miss em!

A good day finally..

I got home late Saturday evening and my internet was working again, hurray.
On top of that the LS event had been cancelled so I didnt miss anything. I went soloing in Qufim with my Dancer again, doing pretty ok, but later i hooked up with a Warrior namned Marek.

We did well, no fantastic exp/hour but we took it steady, doing crabs and pugs until we moved to Lower Delfutt's tower. There we hit the bats and T and VT Gigas. Was good. Once he dinged WAR25 and i DNC26 i had to leave. 02.20AM and I had to sleep.
Planning on getting 2 more levels tomorrow, will see how it goes..

No time to waste

Back on Dancer, and no Tyrandor in sight. I figured since im going to be away Saturday, there would be no harm in leveling on myself, he would be able to catch up.
So I dinged DNC23 in Korroloka Tunnel, and then i got an party invite...in Kazham.
With access to outpost warps and so i rarly find myself going nuts to go somewhere, but its actually quite a trip.. Korroloka to Bastok, warp to Whitegate, warp to Jeuno and then wait for the boat you just missed.. So that was 28 minutes travel time.. Maybe i should just gotten on a high level job and OP-warped.. well, done is done.

With exactly 1 hour to spare until our Dynamis-Beucedine run was scheduled I was hopeing for a good party so I could get the exp needed to ding 24. My good gear i was carrying was Lvl24 and I really wanted to put on my Emp Hairpin, back and leg gear.

But NO, that party was a huge dissapointment. People went afk, the place was so crowded that we had to wait severals minutes between each pull and eventually they pulled gob and 1 guy died, so I decided to leave (a bit early) for Dynamis.

Like 1 hour into Dynamis my Internet went dead..

Thursday night, I finally got to do some leveling on Dancer with my LS Galka buddy Tyrandor again. We are currently only duo'ing to try keeping ourselves at the same level. So far so good.

Got to level 21 before I had to rush off for Limbus event.

I must say, Limbus is the most fun thing we're doing on a regular basis. It is also the thing needed for the Homam stuff I so desperatly need. Im sick of TP-ing in my Scorpion Harness.. :-(
I'm currently second in line for the Body-piece so I must make sure not to miss any runs..
Will be interesting to see if i can make all the runs, considering xmas and New Year is coming up..

Well; I went THF/NIN to Limbus. Its fun to use my recently bought Blau Dolch, it really makes a difference. Great piece. Limbus went fine, did the zone with Fomors/Treeants and elementals..
Cleared and got 4 coins each.

After that it was time for Dancer leveling again. Moved from Korroloka Tunnel to Qufim Island, to give the worms there a try. Exp was very nice, but the place was so crowded. RMT everywhere. We both got level 22 and the decided to call it a day. I ran to Jeuno and got some new gear.

Ok, here we go.

Wednesday was a day of maintenance.
5 hours down the drain of prime-time play so I didn't do much.

Got on my Black Mage and hit a few Campaign battles, did 2 Special Ops.
Went back to Bastok, and got my evaluation, and what do you know, I got a new medal. I' not sure if this will affect my EXP gained from doing campaign battles or not, but if so that is indeed good since I think this will be my main EXP income for my BLM59 for quite a few more levels.

Well after that it was off to bed.
I can't wait to get back on Dancer tomorrow and solo/duo a bit. I would not be surprised if I cant stop leveling once i hit 37.
It's soo much fun!
